Immediately after the conference, on 12 and 13 November 2026, MedGU-26 will organize a rich and carefully designed two-day field trip offering participants the opportunity to explore some of Egypt’s most fascinating geological, cultural, and historical attractions while discovering new experiences and sensations.

MedGU field trips are both educational and convivial, combining scientific interest, field observations, cultural discovery, and memorable social experiences in exceptional settings. The excursion is currently being prepared by the MedGU-26 Organizing Committee and will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to experience Egypt’s remarkable geological heritage and world-renowned landmarks.
